eBay Glitch - Late Shipments
Another known eBay glitch that has affected many. If you are a Top Rated Seller (TRS), this could cost you your discount. Be sure to check your dashboard and late shipment report. Orders that were purchased and paid for on Friday and were shipped on Monday are showing shipped late. This is not so! You have 1 day to ship when you are a TRS and orders that come in on Friday have until Monday to be shipped. What causes this you say? The eBay classic sight is recording that these purchases were paid for on Thursdays even though they were not ordered until Friday. If this happens to you, call eBay and let them know about it. It is a known issue with them and they should be able to fix you right up.
I think I'm going to rant a few minutes. eBay has several glitches and issues. Mistakes I would call them. What perturbs me greatly is that a seller cannot make a mistake without being punished. For instance, if you are out of stock on an item or you discovered an item was defective when you went to ship it and you cancel the order, you take a defect against your account. How is it fair that eBay can make mistakes and we can not? Something they should think about.
