Crazy Ideas to Help Boost Your eBay Sales


Sometimes things just don't sell. Your eBay business gets in a lull. Sometimes there are a few things you can do to boost those sales. Some may sound crazy but some sellers swear by them.

1. List every day. Even if it's only 1 or 2 items. Feed the beast. (This is not one of the crazy ones unless you consider calling eBay the beast crazy.)

2. Use Sell Similar on unsold items instead of relisting. I wrote an article recently.

3. Scroll through your listings. Showing some activity within your store is better than doing nothing.

4. Search other listings. Search around other stores for items you are interested in.

5. Buy something. Always look to eBay first for your purchasing needs. It tends to help boost your own sales.

6. Don't list for a few days and then start listing again. Sometimes having no activity and then starting it back up will boost your sales.

7. Take some of your old stock and run a few auctions. I try to run about 10 auctions a week and I have seen an increase in my sales.

8. Some people notice an increase of old stock after they decide to pull it and donate it. It sells! (Now that is a crazy one that you have no control over.)
